Cosseted in clouds of water vapour, the gentle heat and high humidity seem to massage your body, increasing blood circulation and relaxing tense muscles. The cleansing steam penetrates deep to leave your skin softer and smoother and to leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated long after your bath has finished. A luxurious steam bath raises the standard of public bathing and recreational facilities a good few notches, becoming a natural complement to saunas in hotels, clubs, companies – and, of course, a dream in the family home or apartment.

  • Our units have been around for more than 35 years.
  • The water is heated in a grade 304 Stainless steel tank using Inkaloy elements, the best there is.
  • The outer casing of our steam units is made from grade 430 brushed Stainless steel composite.
  • We use elements to heat up our water inside the tanks and not electrodes.
  • Our units have certain safety features that make them safe,
    they will switch off when water is not supplied.

Steam Room

Usually a tiled room, with a glass door or enclosure. In many cases combined with a shower. The heat is generated by a steam generator that’s placed outside the room, either in the ceiling, adjoining cupboard or in a dedicated plant room. A Special waterproof ceiling is installed with waterproof downlights. This room has 100% humidity and the standard temperature of such a steam room is in the region of about 45-48°C.

Steam Room Sizes

Any shape and size can be used, one should consider the steam units to be used: 9kw is the unit of choice for smaller rooms. There are 6kw units but hardly installed due to the small volumes they heat up:
9kw   – 4 –  7m3 –   Single or 3 phase supply
12kw – 8  –  10m3 –  Prefer 3 phases but can operate on single
15kw – 9 –   13m3 –  3 phase
18kw – 12 – 16m3 –  3 phase

Rooms with a m3 exceeding 23m3 will require more than one unit.
